2. Face Detection Haarcascade
Open publicationThis document provides steps to use the Haar cascade algorithm to detect faces in an image using Python. It explains how to set up an Anaconda environment or Google Collaboratory, import necessary libraries like OpenCV and NumPy, load an image, convert it to grayscale for detection, run the pretrained face detector model to find bounding boxes around faces, and plot the boxes on the original color image.
